Adsense Video Units - Are They Worth Putting On Your Site?

I just noticed that Google has added to their Adsense program Youtube videos that come with adsense on them. The question is whether or not this is something you want to be putting on your site. You have the option of picking the videos yourself or letting Google decide what is relevant based on the theme of your site.

I suppose the videos will add potentially more useful content to your site which will help to keep visitors on your site longer. We all know that the longer a visitor stays on your site the greater the chance they will click on an adsense ad or buy something from you. The quality of the videos is probably the biggest thing so perhaps choosing the videos yourself is the best option as Google may not always pick the most useful content.

Also picking a somewhat non commercial type video may be a good idea because you do not want to lose customers to the people making the videos. So picking something like a tutorial type video that is made simply to inform with no selling pitches in it could be the best way to go.

You will need to get a Youtube account and then link that to your adsense account, however the setup is pretty simple. Ultimately you will need to track click through rates to see whether or not these video units are really making you more money. We will just have to wait and see how effective these Youtube videos are to your adsense earnings because ultimately you need to make more money rather than lose visitors to Youtube. If you really want to make significant money with adsense then you need to learn from Michael Cheney's Adsense Videos. You will learn how to make over $10k a month from just adsense alone.
